Zwei - [Action + Voice]

[bamfing]

[Kurt was on his way home from today's Brigade meeting, when he decided to opt for the shortcut home, teleporting to the top of building seven, appearing on the edge in a crouched position. or at least, that was the plan, until a surprised flaming mutant turkey suddenly lunged at him from nowhere.

This is surprising enough that he slips and falls off the building. Fortunately he quickly teleports the rest of the distance to the ground, landing with a thud on his back and his journal slipping out of his grip and opening up. For a moment, he stares up in shock at whatever that was until a moment later, it jumps down AFTER HIM and leans over him, inspecting the strange disappearing human.]

H-hey! Nice turkey! Trust me, you don't want to eat me, the fuzzy one doesn't taste so good, yeah?

[Anyone's free to see the events above unfold, or just find him afterward hanging out with the strange turkey outside of Building 7 until (or even after) Sapphire shows up to reclaim her Pokemon.]

[Terra's brow furrows.]

...it reminds me of some of the creatures I saw earlier last month. This town had a...invasion is the wrong word, but it's close enough. A swarm? Anyway, there were a lot of creatures that suddenly arrived and they were all pretty agitated. They disappeared after a few days, or at least I thought they all did....

[He hadn't actually heard of any of the last month's events, which is probably for the best.]

Well, this one doesn't seem so agitated at least. I think they were expecting this one to show up anyway...

They were? They might have requested it, then. The Malnosso usually aren't that generous, but weirder things have happened.

Well, I don't know about that... but there it is, so who can say?

[She shrugs, a small smile forming.]

As long as it's not causing any trouble, I can't see anyone minding.

True, yeah. Besides, trainers... they are very caring for their Pokemon. They wouldn't let them cause destruction or do any harm.

[She looks relieved at that.]

Is this your building, or did you just happen to be nearby?

[Thank goodness he played Pokemon as a kid.]

I live here, yeah. First floor, actually.

[She perks up at that.]

I live in a house, but I'm thinking of moving here soon, to help with the local children.

[bamfing]

[Ahh, interesting.]

Oh really? I heard there was kids in the building, although I haven't really met any of them. [He just has... no experience with them.]

The schoolteacher, Raine, told me that all of the adults helping before had departed. I haven't dealt with children that much, but...I want to help, anyway. Besides, I don't need the house anymore. It's too big.

[A brief, sad smile at that.]

[bamfing]

[Not hard to guess the implication of that. Still, he remains cheery in spite of that.]

You should find a room on the first floor before they're all gone. They're still should be one left, I think!

Then I'll have to check. I'd rather be on a lower floor...and besides, it would be nice to know one of my neighbors already.

You'd get to meet my friend Kitty too. She ahh, she knows all about the Fuzzy Dude too.

I'll keep that in mind. I'm moving in with Setzer, a friend from home, and Sonic, a friend from here. I think you'll like Sonic, he's very friendly.

[Terra chuckles softly at that.]

No, I guess not.

[She pauses and stares a moment, as though trying to decide something.]

I...I look different, too. Well, sometimes.

[bamfing]

[That catches him by surprise. What did she mean by that...?]

You mean like... bed hair in the morning different? [... or did she mean like him.]

[Terra shakes her head.]

[She glances around -out of habit- though the rooftop is private enough. After a moment of indecision, she steps back and transforms.]

[bamfing]

[Kurt's eyes widen at that. It was almost like seeing Mystique change, but he didn't think she was a shape shifter. What she was, like this...]

You're like me! [He looks over her and then it sinks in she's no longer clothed and he looks away. If his cheeks weren't covered in blue fur, he'd be turning red.]

Sort of...but I don't think you've heard of Espers, have you? I didn't sense you as one.

[And, point made, she doesn't want to make him uncomfortable. So, she reverts.]

[He shakes his head at that. Espers? Never heard of them.]

Ahh, you didn't have to change back. Sorry, I was just... it was because you weren't quite ahh... clothed, you know? [But if she doesn't mind, he doesn't mind either. He can deal with that.]
