[Kurt was on his way home from today's Brigade meeting, when he decided to opt for the shortcut home, teleporting to the top of building seven, appearing on the edge in a crouched position. or at least, that was the plan, until a surprised flaming mutant turkey suddenly lunged at him from nowhere.
This is surprising enough that he slips and falls off the building. Fortunately he quickly teleports the rest of the distance to the ground, landing with a thud on his back and his journal slipping out of his grip and opening up. For a moment, he stares up in shock at whatever that was until a moment later, it jumps down AFTER HIM and leans over him, inspecting the strange disappearing human.]
H-hey! Nice turkey! Trust me, you don't want to eat me, the fuzzy one doesn't taste so good, yeah?
[Anyone's free to see the events above unfold, or just find him afterward hanging out with the strange turkey outside of Building 7 until (or even after) Sapphire shows up to reclaim her Pokemon.]

They're both real; neither side is an illusion. I'm half-human, which is why I can look like this...but I'm half-esper, too, which is why I can look...well, as you saw a moment ago.

[He turns on his watch.] I have to be so careful. If I grab someone, they can tell I only have three fingers. Or if they were to touch my 'skin', they would feel fur.

...though I wouldn't say that I fit in, anywhere. I wasn't raised with Espers -mostly- and I don't understand humans that well, either. And...I'm really the only mix between them.

No? When I was growing up, the only people I could talk to were my parents. I had to hide from every one else because of... well, you know why. It wasn't until I received this watch I was ever able to make any friends. Before that... I could only watch people. But even though I might be blue and fuzzy, it's not hard to understand regular people.

[She shakes her head, not really wanting to talk about it anymore.]
I'm glad you're able to make friends now, though. And I hope you meet more people that you don't have to hide your appearance from.
