Zwei - [Action + Voice]
[Kurt was on his way home from today's Brigade meeting, when he decided to opt for the shortcut home, teleporting to the top of building seven, appearing on the edge in a crouched position. or at least, that was the plan, until a surprised flaming mutant turkey suddenly lunged at him from nowhere.
This is surprising enough that he slips and falls off the building. Fortunately he quickly teleports the rest of the distance to the ground, landing with a thud on his back and his journal slipping out of his grip and opening up. For a moment, he stares up in shock at whatever that was until a moment later, it jumps down AFTER HIM and leans over him, inspecting the strange disappearing human.]
H-hey! Nice turkey! Trust me, you don't want to eat me, the fuzzy one doesn't taste so good, yeah?
[Anyone's free to see the events above unfold, or just find him afterward hanging out with the strange turkey outside of Building 7 until (or even after) Sapphire shows up to reclaim her Pokemon.]

[She looks relieved at that.]
Is this your building, or did you just happen to be nearby?
no subject
I live here, yeah. First floor, actually.
no subject
I live in a house, but I'm thinking of moving here soon, to help with the local children.
no subject
Oh really? I heard there was kids in the building, although I haven't really met any of them. [He just has... no experience with them.]
no subject
[A brief, sad smile at that.]
no subject
You should find a room on the first floor before they're all gone. They're still should be one left, I think!
no subject
Then I'll have to check. I'd rather be on a lower floor...and besides, it would be nice to know one of my neighbors already.
no subject
[That would be his special name for himself. One of many, in fact.]
no subject
[She smiles at that.]
I'll keep that in mind. I'm moving in with Setzer, a friend from home, and Sonic, a friend from here. I think you'll like Sonic, he's very friendly.
no subject
Sonic the Hedgehog! I know him. [... not in person, but...] Well, not personally. Only heard of.
no subject
Well, I guess I shouldn't be surprised. He's made a lot of friends here.
no subject
no subject
No, I guess not.
[She pauses and stares a moment, as though trying to decide something.]
I...I look different, too. Well, sometimes.
no subject
You mean like... bed hair in the morning different? [... or did she mean like him.]
no subject
No....
[She glances around -out of habit- though the rooftop is private enough. After a moment of indecision, she steps back and transforms.]
no subject
You're like me! [He looks over her and then it sinks in she's no longer clothed and he looks away. If his cheeks weren't covered in blue fur, he'd be turning red.]
((ooc: refresh my memory, is she covered in fur in her esper form?))
no subject
Sort of...but I don't think you've heard of Espers, have you? I didn't sense you as one.
[And, point made, she doesn't want to make him uncomfortable. So, she reverts.]
Um, you can look back now.
no subject
Ahh, you didn't have to change back. Sorry, I was just... it was because you weren't quite ahh... clothed, you know? [But if she doesn't mind, he doesn't mind either. He can deal with that.]
no subject
I...can't really help that part. It just happens.
[One more reason not to show herself like that all the time.]
It's not exactly a secret, but I don't go telling everyone, you know? I want to fit in, too. And telling them what I am...I don't think that would make it possible.
no subject
I'm glad you showed me. It's good to know I'm not alone, you know? Even if you're not a mutant.
no subject
Well, it seemed fair. I saw you, after all. And...I'm glad that I'm not alone, either. Even if you aren't an Esper, or half-Esper.
My roommates already know, so it's not as though you can't mention it around them. As for anyone else, it...ah, depends. Though if you wanted to tell your friend that you met someone like you, I understand. It doesn't sound like she would judge.
[Which is her main issue, really, so without that obstacle....]
no subject
But uh, there is one thing I wonder...
no subject
What is it?
