[It started as any other morning. Or at least, that's how it seemed. No longer going to school, Kurt had the freedom to sleep in as much as he wanted. When he finally dragged himself out of bed, he was surprised to see Anne wasn't there waiting with breakfast. And then when he finally knocked on her door, she didn't answer. Only after pushing it open and looking inside did he realize why. The bedroom was empty. Just like Kitty and Beast Boy. Another empty room. Somehow, though, he can't bring himself to be sad. She may have been a close friend, but she was back where she belonged.

Later on, he'll distribute the manuscripts he found in her room, each one with one of the X-Men as the main character. He'll keep a few for himself. After managing to get a hold of a certain book, he goes to the journal to share a quote from it. His tone is light, a little sad, yet a little relieved at the same time.]

"Oh, Marilla, don't you go pitying me. I don't like to be pitied, and there is no need for it. I'm heart glad over the very thought of staying at dear Green Gables. Nobody could love it as you and I do—so we must keep it."

Anne Shirley is back where she's supposed to be, where she's happy. I know she had a lot of friends here, so I'm sure she'd want to say goodbye if she had a chance.

[And that's that. Once he's talked to people about it, he'll be up on the roof of his house, reading Anne's books. He wants to make sure she had a happy ending.]
[Locked to Housemates]

[Kurt arrived none too gently in the middle of the night, lying in front of the fountain. His head was dizzy, but when he finally came to, he realized people were walking by him without so much as looking at him, despite his current state. He realized it was night time, but he was still stunned that they didn't seem to notice him. It was only when he waved his own hand in front of his face and realized he could barely see it that he became suspicious. After moving into the light, it was almost as if he was not stepping from the shadows, but front a literal blanket of darkness. It was almost as if the darkness made him completely invisible.

After making his way to the roof, he realized that everything around him was so much clearer. It wasn't quite like daylight, but he could see even into the dark alleyways with almost perfect clarity. Whatever the Malnosso did to him, it was weird. He makes his way home that night, not realizing an even bigger surprise is waiting for him.]

[Open To All]

[The next day when Kurt goes out, he does so with a pair of sunglasses on, in order to cover his now glowing eyes. He avoids the Brigade meeting on purpose (and will be doing so for awhile), instead settling for the mundane task of a quick trip to the grocery store. He's trying to avoid being spotted, so most of his travel will be done by roof top. For the sake of his friends though, he does leave a voice post. He's still wearing his sunglasses for that.]

Hey everyone, it's Kurt. Looks like I'm back. I'm just ahhh... a little under the weather, yeah? I'll be back to normal in no time.

[At least, he hopes he will.]
[It's a lazy Sunday afternoon and after lying on the couch with the journal flipped on his face for about ten minutes, Kurt really thinks he could use with some conversation time. It's not that his housemates are bad for that, but he knows how pesky he can be. Especially when he doesn't bother to actually... use doors. Or giving people a proper amount of time to react to him being nearby. Curse of his powers, really. He can't help it! So, he starts out with something simple before decided to handle more... business-y things.]

So... anyone any good at Soccer?

[55% Filtered from Marvel Castmates (sans Rogue and Storm)]

So, weird question, but has anyone ever met people they knew... or kind of knew of from their own world, but that world was totally different. And not even just different possibilities, but stuff that is just way too whack, like people not even being born the right year?

[He feels bad leaving the other X-Men out of that filter, but he doesn't want them to feel unwelcome due to their crazy worlds. Of course, Kurt isn't too great at making filters, so that one isn't all that well made. Neither is the next one, incidentally.]

[50% Filtered to Haruhi and Mikage]

Mikage, Chief... I need a little help with a revenge prank. Think you can help?

[Beyond that, Kurt can be found at the house, hanging out anywhere around the village (including the Battle Dome), and so on. He's a blue demon monkey thing who likes to teleport in and out of places, crouch on top of roofs, or hang out upside down.]
[On the last night of the draft, Kurt took a major beating. For those who had been there, Kurt had become a flurry of teleportations, moving in and out of the enemies and becoming almost impossible to follow. He doesn't know how many he might have wounded or killed, but it had all been halted when he got stabbed with a near fatal wound. He doesn't even recall what happened after that. In fact, between that and the sickness, he only wakes up today in a bed in the medical center. When he tries to get up, he realizes that's not so much a good idea.

At the very least, he finds his journal next to him. So... he pulls that out to ask the inevitable question on his mind.]

I'm back in one piece. Sorry if I worried anyone, but I'm ahh... not even sure what happened.

... so, did we win?
Cut for actiony stuff )

[After that, at the Rec Center, they'll just play some good old fashioned games. Kurt's pretty good at air hockey, but he soon discovers Rogue is waaaay too good at pool. Which leads to him trying to press his natural advantage as he BAMFS and hangs from the ceiling above the table, trying to make a very tricky while upside down. And wouldn't you know it, before he teleported, he stepped back on his school bag and knocked his journal out and open to start recording.]

--what do you think you're doin'?

What does it look like? I'm trying to make a shot!

That is cheatin', Kurt. Get your butt back down here. That is no way ta play pool.

It's not cheating! I'm still hitting the ball with the stick, yeah? It's totally fair!

Part of the game is working the angles from the ground.

Come on, that is so lame!" [He bamfs back to the ground.] "There's no way I can hit it like this.

Sure ya can. Ya just need ta work the angles an' hit the ball right." ... "An' loosen up on that stick. You're holding it too tight.

[Reluctantly Kurt gives in. He still needs to go over the balls, so while he aims with one hand, he steadies the other end of his pool stick... with his tail. Over his head.]

Kurt!

((ooc: Dual post in progress, so get your tags from Kurt and [livejournal.com profile] touchofrogue. Hit 'em up at any of the locations or just do the journal thing if you want. For the Battle Dome, you can run into 'em before or after they play out the scenario (or just sit up in the viewing area and watch it.) Also, housemates and fellow Brigade members would probably already know it's his birthday, but not so much others.))
bamfing: (Oh really?)
[Filtered from Haruhi (cuz he's late!)]

Okay, now that we're not all one big happy family anymore, other people have DVDs here, yeah? The SOS Brigade needs some help coming up with a rental store. Our own very Blockbuster or something. If we all put our collections together, we'll have a pretty good variety and be one step closer to staving off extreme boredom. So if people could just tell me what they've got, we can get a list together. [Feel free to just handwave what that list might be.]

... we also need a place to keep them and someone to run the place. Any ideas?

[That long, long overdue business aside, Kurt is now free to do his own thing. What might that include? Nothing too unusual. Hanging out on top of buildings, spontaneously BAMFing in front of pretty girls, chilling at school during lunch break or coming and going from the SOS Brigade meeting. If he gets bored enough he might just watch people walk around the plaza. Life in Luceti can get a bit dull when your life consists of just socializing and homework. Even if you do have DVDs back home. Too bad he's watched most of the stuff he has already and everything else is just not his kind of stuff.]
[Kurt should probably be weirded out that Rogue, of all people, is in such a good mood. But he's not gonna get him down, because it's Valentine's! And what's a blue fuzzy elf to do but go around and spread some of his holiday affection? This is why he's prepared a box of chocolates, a single blue rose, and a card signed Kurt Wagner for all of his special ladies. Incidentally, he has quite a lot of these. Aside from the ladies in the SOS Brigade, he also has them for Katara, Tear, Alexis, Winry, Mitsuru, Noel, and Tsubaki. He even did it for Elicia, because Kurt is a bro like that. Sorry Buffy, you're CRAZY and get nothing.

Since Kurt is kind of a creeper and likes hanging out on the roofs and watching people walk around and go home, he was able to drop this stuff off at their homes, give a knock, and BAMF away before being caught. (Unless you really do want to catch them). Later he'll be hanging out at Good Spirits for some hot chocolate and so he can address the community at large.]

Man, this holiday must have some real magic around here, huh? Everyone seems way happier lately! Maybe everyone is just finding their true loves today. I bet it's going to be packed here tonight.

((ooc: first voice reply chronologically belongs to Mitsuru, even if you sneak in and beat her to it!))
[Kurt has some messages he needs to leave. None of them have to do with that Brigade business, because he's not really apologetic about people not liking his and Mikage's prank. Nor is he eager to fess up being in a girl's body anyway. However he does need to pass on some news about one of his team mates...]

I guess it's pretty obvious by now, but if anyone didn't know, Kitty's back home now. Which isn't fair, because I was totally here before she was! Pretty lame, yeah?

[It's obvious this happened long enough ago that it doesn't bother Kurt now. It doesn't hurt that going home is a GOOD thing and he's just disappointed she got to go home before him. After all, he changes the subject almost immediately. He's doing this mostly because of Anne and partly because Rogue endorsed it in her own way.]

So... does anyone here like acting? Back in Bayville, I was in a drama club, which was pretty cool. Anyone else into that kind of thing?

[Outside of that, Kurt is in his usual haunts. At home playing video games, hanging around on whatever roof he feels like being on, or DEFENDING THE ALAMO in the Battle Dome. Disturb as you will. If you're just doing something interesting out in the open, he may disturb you against your will.]
[Even though he knows there's a draft going on and he knows a few people are there, he knows there's nothing he can do about it. Just like the infiltration, he's powerless to help. But, well, if the village is going to be flooded and they'll all die, he's not going to spend his last days hiding, not when other people are out there fighting.

Which is why he spends his day the same he always would. There's no school, with both teachers gone, but there's still the Brigade meeting. There's also picking up food at the store, hanging out at the Battle Dome, spending some time at the library, and hanging around the Rec Center to see if anyone shows up to play some Air Hockey with him. A perfectly normal day.

... except for the fact Kurt spends all of it blue and fuzzy. He may freak some people out, sure... and maybe some people won't recognize him, but enough people have already seen him like this. Might as well get this over with. If he can keep himself from teleporting away as soon as people spot him, at least.]

((ooc: forward dated to mid-day, natch)
[One minute, Kurt was in the middle of hanging out in his room in the evening, literally upside down, reading through a book. The next, he suddenly found himself wondering why he was wasting time with books. Landing on the ground, he tosses the book aside and regards himself in a nearby mirror. He's in the same ragged clothing he's used to. He pulls the hood over his face, obscuring his features, and teleports out of the room.

After the sun goes down, a hooded figure will be prowling through the streets. His walk is a little odd, as he walks only on his toes. His tail lashes about freely behind him, often latching around objects to forcefully pull them down. He doesn't care much for regular humans, so any he comes across are likely to get a scowl. Although his face cannot be seen under the hood, his eyes will light up whenever he spots someone. He's also out to do some thievery, particularly whatever can be looted from outside a window without needing to go in. Or maybe he'll just drop by the bar and see if he can't get himself something to drink. It's not like the bartenders will withhold alcohol from something that doesn't even look human, right?

After getting bored, he decides to leave a message on the journals. Notably, his voice lacks the usual soft spoken German accent, but is now a harder, northern American accent.]

I'm getting sick of this hole. What's there to do around here for some real fun?

((ooc: AU information here. Yes, he'll be answering to a different name. He remembers Luceti and the people he's met here, although naturally these memories are a bit twisted. Also, if you want to let him steal anything, let me know. He'll be sure to give it back once he's his old self. Also, no special alt journal! Use your ~imagination~ to see him as looking a lot grungier than usual. He isn't in uniform.))
