[Locked to Housemates]
[Kurt arrived none too gently in the middle of the night, lying in front of the fountain. His head was dizzy, but when he finally came to, he realized people were walking by him without so much as looking at him, despite his current state. He realized it was night time, but he was still stunned that they didn't seem to notice him. It was only when he waved his own hand in front of his face and realized he could barely see it that he became suspicious. After moving into the light, it was almost as if he was not stepping from the shadows, but front a literal blanket of darkness. It was almost as if the darkness made him completely invisible.
After making his way to the roof, he realized that everything around him was so much clearer. It wasn't quite like daylight, but he could see even into the dark alleyways with almost perfect clarity. Whatever the Malnosso did to him, it was weird. He makes his way home that night, not realizing an even bigger surprise is waiting for him.]
[Open To All]
[The next day when Kurt goes out, he does so with a pair of sunglasses on, in order to cover his now glowing eyes. He avoids the Brigade meeting on purpose (and will be doing so for awhile), instead settling for the mundane task of a quick trip to the grocery store. He's trying to avoid being spotted, so most of his travel will be done by roof top. For the sake of his friends though, he does leave a voice post. He's still wearing his sunglasses for that.]
Hey everyone, it's Kurt. Looks like I'm back. I'm just ahhh... a little under the weather, yeah? I'll be back to normal in no time.
[At least, he hopes he will.]

Great - just try not to be too disappointed when my outfit ends up being better than yours.

She isn't sure if they can really be considered boyfriend and girlfriend when they've only just kissed, but... well. Whatever kind of relationship they have, Melanie likes it, and she wouldn't mind seeing where it goes.]
[action]
[action]
Hey. [She offers him a small smile.] You okay?
[action]
... ah, sorry, what?

[action]
Oh. Sorry, I guess we're both a bit distracted. [She does take a drink, though - not because Kurt asked, but because she actually is fairly thirsty. She just didn't really think much about it while they were talking.]
So... [Melanie doesn't really know what else to say. It'd be awkward to just leave, especially when neither of them are really sure of what to make of whatever their relationship is now. Normally, Melanie wouldn't care so much about her own relationship status (instead choosing to just go with it without putting a label on it), but given the circumstances and the fact that Kurt is a friend and not some random guy... well, some kind of certainty wouldn't be opposed. She's just not sure how to go about asking since she's never felt the need to before.]
[action]
So... what did you do for fun, back home? Anything?
[action]
What about you?
[action]
Well sometimes me and Scott, my friend, would go driving around Bayville. Maybe take the girls with us and hit up the beach. Or hit up the arcade. I used to go skateboarding with Evan sometimes. [But he did that less once Evan moved out.] And sometimes I'd play pranks on the other students. [Mostly on Kitty. And usually when she was busy being focused on Lance.]
[action]
She does grin as he says all that, though. Typical teenage boy stuff. Different as he may look, he's still just a regular guy underneath it all.]
Sounds like fun.
[action]
[action]
Too bad. I guess we'll just have to start figuring out other ways to have fun.
[action]
I'm pretty sure we've already figured out a few good ideas.
[action]
You've got a point. [They did talk about a date at the battle dome, after all.]
At least we can keep ourselves busy, then.
[action]
[action]
That would be great.
[action]
My lady?
[action]
Ready when you are.
