[Kurt arrived none too gently in the middle of the night, lying in front of the fountain. His head was dizzy, but when he finally came to, he realized people were walking by him without so much as looking at him, despite his current state. He realized it was night time, but he was still stunned that they didn't seem to notice him. It was only when he waved his own hand in front of his face and realized he could barely see it that he became suspicious. After moving into the light, it was almost as if he was not stepping from the shadows, but front a literal blanket of darkness. It was almost as if the darkness made him completely invisible.

After making his way to the roof, he realized that everything around him was so much clearer. It wasn't quite like daylight, but he could see even into the dark alleyways with almost perfect clarity. Whatever the Malnosso did to him, it was weird. He makes his way home that night, not realizing an even bigger surprise is waiting for him.]

[The next day when Kurt goes out, he does so with a pair of sunglasses on, in order to cover his now glowing eyes. He avoids the Brigade meeting on purpose (and will be doing so for awhile), instead settling for the mundane task of a quick trip to the grocery store. He's trying to avoid being spotted, so most of his travel will be done by roof top. For the sake of his friends though, he does leave a voice post. He's still wearing his sunglasses for that.]

Hey everyone, it's Kurt. Looks like I'm back. I'm just ahhh... a little under the weather, yeah? I'll be back to normal in no time.

[At least, he hopes he will.]

Well, it does work. Just... not on me. [Apparently this is the Malnosso's way of saying 'deal with it'.]

[Some hesitation here. Kurt's dwelling on this too much, and it's dragging him into a place that borders on being unKurt. What would the Titans do?]

... You play basketball, right?

[He blinks at that, not quite expecting that change in the subject.]

Basketball?

Basketball. Two men, one ball. Ostensibly also a net.

... I know how to play. [It just came out of nowhere dude.] You mean right now?

[What. He's new at this whole "being the supportive one" thing.] You're telling me you've got something more productive to do?

Well... not really. [Just lunch. But he's really not sure he's up to this.]

Oh, so you mean you're afraid to play against me.

I didn't say that. [And that's enough to spark a little competitiveness.] I just don't want you to look bad, yeah?

That's not possible. [Does this interest mean he's not brooding about his eyes anymore? This supportiveness thing isn't nearly as hard as he thought it'd be!]

Only problem is, no ball and net, dude. [Unless... well, there is the dome. If they an get a chamber to themselves.]

I figured out the battledome configuration a while ago. I spend a lot of time there. It's not hard to get it to do noncombative sessions.

Isn't it supposed to do that now? [Gosh Robin, don't take credit for something that's standard feature now.]

[LIES. Kurt needs to stop knowing things so Robin has the chance to take credit for them!]

It may have recently become easier to accomplish.

I hang out at the Dome all the time, man. I know how it works. [He ends up snickering at Robin's expense.]

[NOT. OKAY.]

So are we playing or are you just going to stand around running your mouth?

Ahh, right, let's get going. [He extends his hand.] Want to take the shortcut?

[Hand not taken. No offense. Teleportation might be fast, but it's generally not worth that feeling of being sucked into nothing and then spat back out again.]

I'll meet you there.

[Oh. Well then. In that case?]

Better idea, I'll race you there.

[Nothing like running along roof tops. Also Kurt gets a head start.]

[Hey -- Kurt has that four-legged thing working for him THAT IS NOT FAIR. Robin will be following with a solid sprint. Also, Luceti needs more rooftops. It's limiting his options and making it really tempting to just cheat and lasso Kurt's feet together. This is not an idea he indulges. But man he wants to.]

[He's not too bad at the whole jumping thing, but eventually he'll have to hop to the ground for using a bridge. Once he realizes he's got a solid lead, he maaaay slow down a little to give Robin a chance.]

[PFF. Robin wants nothing to do with this pity. Kurt's welcome to go on ahead being all superpowered. Robin'll be back here linefacing about it, but it's not all that different than his usual linefacing so it all kind of works out in the end.]

[Hey, he's not using his powers! Just his natural monkey-esque advantages. He'd totally still have them without powers.

It does leave him waiting outside the dome for Robin, though.]

[Genetic mutations count as superpowers. These are terrible semantics.

He doesn't take too long to catch up, and isn't about to comment about Kurt's victory when he gets there either.]

And now that you're warmed up, we can get going.

[Just. BRB a second. Trading insults with Glados.]
