[It's a lazy Sunday afternoon and after lying on the couch with the journal flipped on his face for about ten minutes, Kurt really thinks he could use with some conversation time. It's not that his housemates are bad for that, but he knows how pesky he can be. Especially when he doesn't bother to actually... use doors. Or giving people a proper amount of time to react to him being nearby. Curse of his powers, really. He can't help it! So, he starts out with something simple before decided to handle more... business-y things.]

So, weird question, but has anyone ever met people they knew... or kind of knew of from their own world, but that world was totally different. And not even just different possibilities, but stuff that is just way too whack, like people not even being born the right year?

[He feels bad leaving the other X-Men out of that filter, but he doesn't want them to feel unwelcome due to their crazy worlds. Of course, Kurt isn't too great at making filters, so that one isn't all that well made. Neither is the next one, incidentally.]

I sort of understand. It's hard to remember what Usagi-chan knows from my world or doesn't know.

Oh! You're from Usagi's world? Or... well, a world like hers.

This may sound like a strange question, but what color is her hair?

[It's the quickest way she's found to differentiate between the Usagi from her world, and the Usagi she only met here.]

She was blonde. I knew Usagi when she was in the Brigade, yeah?

That was Usagi-chan from a different world than mine. But she was still Usagi-chan.

Yeah, I figured. She was pretty cool.

I owe her a lot. She saved me back then.

I... think she brought snacks once. [Yup, lame. He never really got to know her.]

Really? I though Alphonse was from another world than her.

The one she loves is waiting for her back home. For that Usagi, too.

But what about Alphonse? Why would she be with him if there's someone else she loves more?

[Because after so long in Luceti, it's hard not to start making your life here. Because it's hard to be lonely. Because it's natural to seek comfort.

But that relationship jeopardized the entirety of Usagi's world, and the existence of Usagi's future daughter. Ami would have stood by Usagi, but it wasn't something to take lightly.]

I think she was used to being in Luceti.

Yeah. I guess so. [Well Kurt's relationship with Amanda doesn't hold the universe in the balance. Who knows if they'll even last, given her parents want her to have nothing to do with him. But it's sort of depressing to think of just finding a girl in Luceti to cure loneliness.]

Besides [and now she's thinking of herself, her own reasons for not wanting to be too involved] eventually, we'll return home.
