Sechs - [Action/Voice]

[Kurt is hanging out at the Battle Dome today. One nice thing about not having Wolverine around is that the programs he gets to pick aren't too hard and he gets to pick his own pace. But practice is still important, right? Besides, he gets to practice using the handy saber he picked up at the weapon shop. Sure, maybe it isn't practical to his typical training in subduing enemies with guns or mutant powers, but it's way more fun. But then, he'll probably never legitimately be fighting pirates on the high seas in epic sword duels. It's his guilty pleasure, okay? He likes to see imagine himself as a handsome, swashbuckling hero.

In between sessions, he decides to take a break, eat something from the vending machine and chat with people.]

People use the battle dome here a lot, right? Anyone have any favorite scenarios they like to fight in?

Guilty? Me? No way. [And how can anyone understand that? Usually by the time you reach the dinner plate, you're already cooked.]

[She walks up and puts a hand on his shoulder, leaning on him teasingly. That grumpy look is just too priceless.]

Oh, please. Don't tell me you've never thought of all those innocent cows.

[Beast Boy grins, and in his spot several seconds and one whoosh sound later is a bull. It blinks innocently at the two, utilizing its new ability to speak in this form.]

Why would you want to eat little old me?

[... oh yeah, he had described doing that. He should act more surprised, but his mother was able to do that too.]

Because you're very tasty. [No guilt at all.] Wait while I grab some ketchup.

[Kitty, on the other hand, was totally not expecting that, and it startles her into clinging to Kurt for a brief moment.

...There's a green cow in their living room.

But she gets over herself in under a second, and opts to swat at Kurt's shoulder instead.]

Kurt! That is so rude!

You could at least pretend to look guilty, you know. [Turning back into a human now because ew. He's used to a similar reaction from Cyborg, though, so he's not actually all that bothered.]

Ow, hey! I'm just kidding! [Not that he plans to change his dietary habits or anything, but...]

[She latches onto Kurt's arm and starts leading him out the door.] Okay, we're not that cruel. You know we're just teasing.

Yeah, don't sweat it. [Beast Boy smirks as he follows along.] You totally remind me of my teammate Cyborg back home - you just need the glowing red eye and a few extra nuts and bolts.

[Switching on his inducer now that they're going out the door. It's second nature to him now.]

I think I'm fine without any of those, thanks.

Cyborg as in an actual robot guy?

[Sounds pretty cool to her, except for the whole red eye bit. That reminds her a little too much of the sentinels. She's also not sure how Kurt can remind him of a robot.]

Only part robot. Sure, he can be a real stick in the mud sometimes, but Cy's way more human than he gives himself credit for. [Also, when one of your guardians growing up is an actual robot man named Robot Man, your perception of this sort of stuff gets a bit skewed.]

Wow. We don't have anyone like that. I mean, Forge can turn his hand into... well, anything, but that's ind of different.

[Long story short, he's impressed.]

[If she wasn't so determined to hide it, she'd be completely geeking out about that right now.]

Does the rest of your team have powers too, or just you guys?

[Though she's not really sure if Cyborg would be considered "powered" or not.]

Well, Raven and Starfire both have powers, so that's four of us. Robin is just a regular dude, but was trained by the Bat himself.
