[Kurt is hanging out at the Battle Dome today. One nice thing about not having Wolverine around is that the programs he gets to pick aren't too hard and he gets to pick his own pace. But practice is still important, right? Besides, he gets to practice using the handy saber he picked up at the weapon shop. Sure, maybe it isn't practical to his typical training in subduing enemies with guns or mutant powers, but it's way more fun. But then, he'll probably never legitimately be fighting pirates on the high seas in epic sword duels. It's his guilty pleasure, okay? He likes to see imagine himself as a handsome, swashbuckling hero.

In between sessions, he decides to take a break, eat something from the vending machine and chat with people.]

People use the battle dome here a lot, right? Anyone have any favorite scenarios they like to fight in?

Cyborg as in an actual robot guy?

[Sounds pretty cool to her, except for the whole red eye bit. That reminds her a little too much of the sentinels. She's also not sure how Kurt can remind him of a robot.]

Only part robot. Sure, he can be a real stick in the mud sometimes, but Cy's way more human than he gives himself credit for. [Also, when one of your guardians growing up is an actual robot man named Robot Man, your perception of this sort of stuff gets a bit skewed.]

Wow. We don't have anyone like that. I mean, Forge can turn his hand into... well, anything, but that's ind of different.

Does the rest of your team have powers too, or just you guys?

[Though she's not really sure if Cyborg would be considered "powered" or not.]

Well, Raven and Starfire both have powers, so that's four of us. Robin is just a regular dude, but was trained by the Bat himself.

Robin? You mean like... Dick Grayson Robin? That Robin?

Not just heard of. Me and Kitty? We've met Batman. [If they hadn't already left, he'd show BB his AUTHENTIC batarang.]

In our world, there's comic books about Batman and Robin.

Look. I have no idea how this comic book thing is supposed to work, but be careful that name, okay? It's a big deal to him. [Everything else he'll sit on. Kurt and Kitty genuinely seem like good people, and...hell. He's seen weirder.]

Uh, sure. No worries, man. It's our secret. [... and a good number of other people in Luceti. Superhero identities are the worst kept secret around here.]

Just make sure that if Robin ever gets thrown here and figures it out, you didn't hear it from me. [What he doesn't know won't hurt him...unless Robin finds out. Then he'll probably hurt him.]

Yeah, you've got it, man. [Well, he's already told Wonder Woman about the comic book thing and she took it well enough. And he knows he's fictional in other worlds, so...]
