[Kurt was on his way home from today's Brigade meeting, when he decided to opt for the shortcut home, teleporting to the top of building seven, appearing on the edge in a crouched position. or at least, that was the plan, until a surprised flaming mutant turkey suddenly lunged at him from nowhere.

This is surprising enough that he slips and falls off the building. Fortunately he quickly teleports the rest of the distance to the ground, landing with a thud on his back and his journal slipping out of his grip and opening up. For a moment, he stares up in shock at whatever that was until a moment later, it jumps down AFTER HIM and leans over him, inspecting the strange disappearing human.]

H-hey! Nice turkey! Trust me, you don't want to eat me, the fuzzy one doesn't taste so good, yeah?

[Anyone's free to see the events above unfold, or just find him afterward hanging out with the strange turkey outside of Building 7 until (or even after) Sapphire shows up to reclaim her Pokemon.]

I'll be looking forward to it, really. [Big grin. He opens up one of the cabinets and retrieves a sauce pan.] So, let it simmer?

[She grabs the jar with a melodramatic bow.] I am your ever willing pupil, Chef Fuzzy Elf.

[When she comes back up, she's smiling.]

[He straightens up and puts a hand on his chest.]

Just remember to follow my instruction carefully, mein frauleine.

Why, I would never dream of doing anything else.

[She ceremoniously offers him the jar, bowing her head like an alter boy presenting a sacred tome]

The first ingredient, your Chefliness. And please refrain from getting fur in the pizza.

[He accepts this gracious gift, but gives her a look at the bit about fur.]

For your information, I wear gloves. [And he doesn't shed! ... much.

He does start pouring that sauce into the saucepan though.]

[She smiles, leaning against the counter.] I was just teasing.

[He brushes it off with a quick thumbs up.] Yeah, of course. I knew that. [He walks ~~and doesn't teleport~~ over to the stove, setting the sauce pan over there.]

So, ready made crust, right?

[Now she feels a little guilty, but won't show it.]

Yeah, I thought there was no way I could mess that up.

[Since it doesn't bother him that much and he isn't looking at her at the moment, he wouldn't notice it anyway.]

It's faster this way, anyway. Maybe next time.

Don't tell me you can make that homemade too.

[He shrugs.]

If I had instructions, maybe.

I guess I should try and find a cookbook somewhere, huh? I'm thinking of it too much like chemistry class. You know, trial and error, testing out each variable...

[Wow, did that sound geeky. Quick, rebound!]

Or like, just grabbing whatever looks good at the moment.

[Grin, grin. Though she's not really sure who she's trying to impress at the moment. It's just Kurt.]

[If only Kurt knew Kitty was a closet nerd... Those words of science coming out of her mouth are a little odd, but not enough for him to think much of of it.]

Or maybe a little of both. The jalapeno and anchovies pizza wasn't bad, just way too spicy.

[More like a locker nerd.]

It wasn't that spicy. [Big baby. She likes spicy food.]

I guess I could just stick to plain old pepperoni and cheese, but isn't that kind of boring?

[He was sheltered as a child. He didn't have much spicy food!]

Back home, one pizza we would have had lots of beef, peppers, potatoes, and onions. Another... flat bread with onions, sour cream, and pork fat. [And it was delicious. Don't judge him.]

The first one doesn't sound bad, but the second? Mega disgusting.

Old family recipe. It's better than it sounds.

Ew, no. I think I'll pass.

[Maybe he'll just make it some day. And not tell her. Sweet revenge.]

Anyway, yeah. Just pepperoni is boring.

[Jerk. And you say her cooking is bad.]

Okay, so we need to find a happy medium. I'll agree to no jalapenos if you agree to no pork fat. [Bleck!]

[It's an old family recipe.]

Okay, fine. Deal. But you really don't know what you're missing.

Then I won't really miss it.

Okay, next on the chopping block - anchovies. They're really not that bad, are they? I know most people think they're gross but I like them.

Anchovies... not my favorite, but not bad. They can stay. [Grudgingly.]

Okay then, name something you hate, because I need something to trade for the sour cream.

Well, it's not really sour cream. It's crème fraîche. More like... butter, right?
