Elf - [Action/Voice]
[Having already determined the village is full of people in the wrong shapes, Kurt wasn't all that surprised to find himself in a new body. Sure, the five fully functional fingers was new. And walking without his tail as a counterbalance was just surreal. And how on earth did people walk on their heels. No, really, the fact that really shocked him was that his entire body was monochrome. Sure, maybe his favorite actor had always been in black and white movies, but this was just... a little odd.
Nevertheless, he decides to set out and make good use of his new form. Particularly, of course, by going out and charming women with his oh-so-obviously attractive new (old) features. So if you're a pretty girl (and hopefully not too young), you'll have his attention. Or if you're just someone he knows, he'll want to show off. Later on, while having a drink (non-alcoholic!) at Good Spirit, he'll make a voice message.]
So did anyone else actually turn into something cool during this experiment?

poor beleaguered and totally undeservingblonde bartender. ]It is quite dull without a theatre of any kind. Why, back home I am certain that I must have gone to see a new production every week. Whether it be a tragedy or an opera or...[ she thinks for a moment. what's left? ] Or a daring tale of scintillating adventure!
[ yeah she's never been to a proper theatre. ]

[He stares down at his glass of wine, a little hesitant to actually drink it. He's never actually went drinking before. American laws are a lot stricter than in Germany... and his foster parents weren't ones for drinking anyway. He takes a drink, a little more than a sip, and does his best not to let the bitter taste make his face blanch.]

[ she takes a dainty sip of her own and tries very carefully to keep an appraising face. it doesn't go well and her wince is quite obvious. how, exactly, had diana slurped so much of this down that ill-fated day of the tea party?
anyway -- actors are mysterious! rogues and rakes and devilishly famous heartbreakers. this puts anne on the edge of her seat. ] Have you fallen for any famous leading ladies?

[Seeing that Anne is also not enjoying the wine, he sets the glass down and turns his nose up at it.]
Clearly the wine here is as bad as I suspected, wouldn't you agree?

[He tries another sip anyway. It's not quite as bad this time.]

Perhaps -- perhaps it only needs to breath.
no subject
Possibly. We'll make do for now.

So...so tart.
no subject
Agreed. Very tart.

[ she spins the glass, idly. ] Or...or -- [ she trails off. ]

[Well what do you know? His glass is empty. Should he go for more?]

[ she drains her glass. pretend it's juice. then she bustles to top both of their glasses back up from the bottle. ] I suppose it would be a shame to let it go to waste.

[With his glass refilled, he'll just go for another sip.]

[ her cheeks have developed a full boozy blush, now. this would be the first time anne has ever drank. ]

[He's smiling a bit more than before. And not just the self satisfied smirk anymore.]

[He's running out of fancy words. Oops.]

[ are her eyes lighting up? ]
no subject
... yes?
no subject
[ oh, she is drinking deeply as standard now. ]

[His American accent is starting to slip a bit now. As he finishes off his glass, he refills both of their glasses.]

[ because it's cool!
either way, her speech is slightly slurred. ]

You are so very odd! [ and then, concerned that he may be insulted, she leans a palm on the table and inclines her head. ] I mean...odd can be quite cool. [ she tests the word out. ]
