[Well, Kurt is at home with nothing to do. He's finished his homework, goofed off in the Battle Dome, and isn't quite up to crashing in on his friends and seeing what they're up to. Apparently that's annoying. So he has only one alternative - watch movies he's already seen several times or be entertained by Luceti's populace. Which means getting a discussion going. Something simple and mindless to talk about.]

Okay, so everyone. You're on a boat and it shipwrecks on a deserted island. You can only take one thing with you from home. What is it?

... ohh, right, and if you have any kind of superpowers that would get you off the island, those don't count. Or for making new stuff and- actually, yeah, no superpowers at all. Just stuff you bring!

Well, they would be extremely limited in terms of what they can do. Really, they could either cooperate or swim for it; whether on the ship or in jail, they'd at least get food.

What makes you so sure you would win? These pirates could all be legendary zombie pirates.

I've dealt with worse things before.

What if they have dealt with even worse things than you have? [What? It's a legitimate question.]

I can't think that many pirates would have fought off demonic creatures larger than most buildings.

How big of buildings are we talking here? Because in my world, buildings are really big and Godzilla is even bigger than those.

Well, the creature itself was slightly larger than the community houses here, if I had to guess. Are monsters larger where you come from?

Oh no, none here. But Godzilla's leg would be the size of one of these community buildings. Or maybe just up to his knee... [It's hard to tell, okay.]

I've heard about that creature before, but... I didn't figure it would be that massive! How is something that large dealt with?

Lots and lots of tanks! Although in other movies, he turns into a good guy and fights off other evil giant monsters.

...Wait, movies?

Yeah, like on TV!

He could be. A lot of the people here aren't real in my world.

Schoolwork, early mornings, fighting off dangerous mutants, giant robots, surprise exams. Nothing unusual.

How dangerous are the... wait, what kind of teachers give out surprise exams?!
