[Well, Kurt is at home with nothing to do. He's finished his homework, goofed off in the Battle Dome, and isn't quite up to crashing in on his friends and seeing what they're up to. Apparently that's annoying. So he has only one alternative - watch movies he's already seen several times or be entertained by Luceti's populace. Which means getting a discussion going. Something simple and mindless to talk about.]

Okay, so everyone. You're on a boat and it shipwrecks on a deserted island. You can only take one thing with you from home. What is it?

... ohh, right, and if you have any kind of superpowers that would get you off the island, those don't count. Or for making new stuff and- actually, yeah, no superpowers at all. Just stuff you bring!

Well, sea gulls. But they aren't really dangerous, just annoying.

No! Hundreds of miles of ocean in every direction!

The ocean is green from the prolific algae. Great toothed birds the size of houses hunt those that dwell on the surface, devouring all. No man has made it further than the edges of the shore, but occasionally great beasts wash up on the shores.

Ahh, yeah. Oceans aren't like that on Earth. The most we have to worry about is a bad storm.
