This post is for threading with Kurt anytime and anywhere. It can be used for Action or the Ring feature on journals to get in contact with him for personal conversations.

[He shakes his head, smiling.]

I'm just kidding, you know.

[but she just flushes and shakes her head. Guuuhh she shouldn't be so serious]

... usually my audience laughs more.

Just feeling a some slack, Kurt.

Clearly I just need to introduce you to some good comedy. That way you'll know when you're supposed to laugh.

Teach me, Master Kurt.

I guess we could always start with the classics. Nobody teaches comedy better than Abbot and Costello.

[...No idea who those are, but he likes it-] Hey, you're set to scope, I'll aud it right off.

[WHAT THE HELL DOES THAT EVEN MEAN.]

... does that mean you want to go watch it now?

With you, Kurt, I'd go wherever.

[Seriously, smile. Come on]

Now that's what I call romantic! If only you knew how much. Not many girls would go for an evening of black and white comedy acts over a sunny beach. [Hmm. Melanie will probably be fine flying solo for awhile.] But if you don't want to bake out here...

[He holds out a hand. A hand for teleporting.]

[She then goes to take Kurt's hand. Well, she also takes hold of her coat, but yeah, let's go.

...Man his fur feels nice]

[Grinning devilishly, he gave her hand a little squeeze and then they were gone, off to the X-House. It would take a few 'ports (what with needing to use the teleporter at the fort), but eventually they'd be on the couch. Of course, he was still a little damp and in swimwear, but whatever.]

I think, for this, we will need some popcorn.

Pop- [YOU KNOW WHAT, DOn'T QUESTION IT] Sounds about right.

Hold that thought!

[He leaps over the couch and heads into the kitchen, quickly throwing a bag of popcorn into the microwave. Once back on the couch, he's thumbing through some DVDs until he finds what he's looking for.]

Okay, let's start you out with something classic...

[He pops in "The Naughty Nineties" and skips to this classic scene.]

[For a moment after it starts, she's actually confused. she braves through it with a confused expression on her face, leaning in towards Kurt a bit until they get to the outfielders. And then she gets it. Oh. Who is the name of the guy on first. And after that she smirks. By the time they get to the fellow flipping shit about being a catcher, she's actually laughing, even. Man, what a scope. This is weird.

Weird, but funny]

[Once that segment is over, Kurt pauses and gives her a small prod.]

Well what do you know, there's hope for you yet! You do have a sense of humor!

Stow it. My human's jake, you Old 'Mericans and all the other hokum people just make 'bout as much sense as a pumped needs.

[Said in good faith, still sort of laughing]

[Amazingly all of that makes sense to him except the last part.]

I take it pumped needs are a bad thing.

Like chems, drugs, that sorta stuff.

... ah, so you think we're all druggies. That's flattering.

Sound sound it sometimes.

Well, don't worry, sometimes you sound like a bad scifi too.
