Zwei - [Action + Voice]

[bamfing]

[Kurt was on his way home from today's Brigade meeting, when he decided to opt for the shortcut home, teleporting to the top of building seven, appearing on the edge in a crouched position. or at least, that was the plan, until a surprised flaming mutant turkey suddenly lunged at him from nowhere.

This is surprising enough that he slips and falls off the building. Fortunately he quickly teleports the rest of the distance to the ground, landing with a thud on his back and his journal slipping out of his grip and opening up. For a moment, he stares up in shock at whatever that was until a moment later, it jumps down AFTER HIM and leans over him, inspecting the strange disappearing human.]

H-hey! Nice turkey! Trust me, you don't want to eat me, the fuzzy one doesn't taste so good, yeah?

[Anyone's free to see the events above unfold, or just find him afterward hanging out with the strange turkey outside of Building 7 until (or even after) Sapphire shows up to reclaim her Pokemon.]

[Terra's wandering about when she catches sight of the guy hanging out with....

...she pauses and stares, unable to stop herself.]

[Eventually after his words do no good, Kurt teleports away from the turkey.]

Hey, you look kind of familiar. Are you a Pokemon? [The bird tilts his head at him.] Not very talkative, are you?

[bamfing]

[By now, he's figured out what the creature is. Now he's just waiting for its owner to show up.]

Okay turkey-thing. Race you to the top? I'll give you a head start, too!

[It seems to agree with that... and prepares to jump to the top of the building. Kurt waits a few seconds before vanishing in a puff of smoke, appearing at the top before the mutant turkey arrives.]

[Just as Terra is about to call out and ask what about the turkey-creature, the teleporting happens. That in itself isn't especially weird to her, but undeniably curious -and not as eager to show off- she lingers and watches from below.]

[bamfing]

[Kurt won't be seen for a good minute, but he'll later near the edge, clearly enjoying his strange friend. He has, however, turned off his holo watch, since the top of the building is fairly private. From the back though, he looks more or less the same. Especially from that distance.

Well, except for that tail that's swaying back and forth.]

Is that a Blaziken...? [THIS IS DEFINITELY ONE OF THE JUNIORS' pokemon]

[Kurt glances back from, oddly enough, trying to talk to it.]

How should I know? It looks like some kind of radioactive turkey to me.

[...tail? Her eyes widen.

He doesn't register as an Esper, but that's even more intriguing. For a moment, she hesitates...and then teleports to the roof.]

[Being a naturally born teleporter, he immediately can tell another person is coming. He immediately tries to turn his watch back on, but has the misfortune of it having slipped upside down.]

[bamfing]

[... but that's easily fixed and he turns it back on. Still, she'll have had enough time to see him switch back.]

Looks more like a Pokémon to me. Too bad I don't have my Pokédex, though. [she sighs]

[He tilts his head as he looks at the turkey.]

I think someone drew a picture of it, didn't they? In the journals.

[Oh, dear. Given his reaction, she now realizes that he didn't want to be seen in such a way. Embarrassed at intruding on his privacy, she winces and takes a step back.]

...you didn't want anyone to see that, did you? I'm sorry.

[bamfing]

[... so she saw it. Oh man, well... Jenny and Diana didn't care, so...]

Don't apologize. It's just... easier for people to see me like this.

Oh, yeah! Those were Yellow's pictures! So it must be one of the Junior's Pokémon, then!

[She smiles wryly. That she can understand to some extent.]

I won't tell anyone.

...and you don't have to change, for me. I mean...I don't mind.

[Pause.]

I'm Terra.

[bamfing]

[After a moment's hesitation, he switches the watch back off. There he is, all his blue and fuzzy glory.]

Kurt. [...] That would be great. I mean, if you don't tell anyone.

[Terra nods, with an understanding look.]

I won't. Sometimes, it's...hard to know how people will react.

[Changing the subject....]

...I saw you with your pet on the ground and wanted to ask about it, but you teleported over to the roof before I could.

[Her gaze shifts to accommodate his strange companion.]

[bamfing]

Pet...? [He follows her gaze and then realizes what she meant.]

Oh no, that's not mine! He ah, kind of surprised me when I found him. I think it's a Pokemon.

[She tilts her head to look at him once more, curious.]

A...Pokemon? Are they creatures from your world?

[bamfing]

[... aha] Not really. I've just heard about them, that's all. It must belong to one of the Pokemon trainers here...

I'm sure they'll be glad to know it's alright.

[Terra's brow furrows.]

...it reminds me of some of the creatures I saw earlier last month. This town had a...invasion is the wrong word, but it's close enough. A swarm? Anyway, there were a lot of creatures that suddenly arrived and they were all pretty agitated. They disappeared after a few days, or at least I thought they all did....

[bamfing]

[He hadn't actually heard of any of the last month's events, which is probably for the best.]

Well, this one doesn't seem so agitated at least. I think they were expecting this one to show up anyway...
