Some permission-type things! Mainly two things go here.
1) Kurt is from a modern world and he himself is a fairly typical teenager in what he watches TV and plays video games. He is not that much of a geek, though, so his knowledge is limited. He's also from the year 2003, so anything after that will be lost on him. Primarily he will know things that were popular with teenager in the late nineties up to 2003. He'll know the cartoons he grew up with as a kid (think Ninja Turtles, Disney fare, and so on), as well as stuff that are just popular cultural things (Star Trek, Star Wars, Batman, etc). He's also known to play video games, but typically limited to popular action games and less so RPGs (unless you're called Pokemon). As far as anime and manga goes, he's not likely to know anything that's less popular than Dragonball Z or Sailor Moon and would only be aware of them in passing.
non tl;dr version - examples of things he'd know about:

2) Can your character see through Kurt's holographic illusion? No, he can't. Hitsguaya's senses are pretty keen, but they're limited to recognizing a person by the feel of their spiritual presence/power. (Canonically, illusions are just... bad for Hitsugaya. Bad, bad, bad.)

-Donts) Adell is a "no" simply because his game didn't exist in 2003. Yellow 13 is a "maybe," if Kurt had happened to play Ace Combat 04, though it's probably unlikely. For his own sanity, though, it might be best to just go with no.

Miu, Emma, and Etna will be clueless. Bob has very keen senses, though, so it's kind of up to you whether he can smell that Kurt is different (he has fur, so I imagine he'd have a different scent than a human). This wouldn't go any farther than him being like "You smell weird" and him being generally annoyed by this.

Albert and Walter: No.
Leon: He has stronger senses of smell, hearing, and sight. While he won't see anything incriminating about Kurt's illusion, Kurt may smell different to him (fur versus human skin, especially if Kurt happens to get wet). He may also hear odd sounds if Kurt flicks his tail back and forth.

All the games are far too obscure, so probably no chances he knows them. If FF is too geeky, than yeah, Lufia and Suikoden is even more so.

Arshtat definitely can't. I don't know about Yuber since the canon never really goes into details about all of the inhuman abilities he has. But since it's not magical, I'd think at most he might be able to smell fur since I gather he has a decent sense of smell (considering how he gets off to the smell of blood, yeah.) Erim won't be able to see through it either since it's not magical and mechanical stuff tends to not have energy that she can detect readily. She'll sense a not human energy is about the most I can tell, and that's really nothing odd for Luceti so it won't hinder how she treats him if they meet.
Bones and John Watson

-Donts) I only ask he doesn't use any big spoilers from the original series films or anything to do with Moriarty.
