1) Can Kurt 4th wall your character? -Dos) -Donts) Miu, Emma, Etna (Disgaea was released in 2003, but it seems unlikely he'd have played it), Bob 2) Can your character see through Kurt's holographic illusion? Miu, Emma, and Etna will be clueless. Bob has very keen senses, though, so it's kind of up to you whether he can smell that Kurt is different (he has fur, so I imagine he'd have a different scent than a human). This wouldn't go any farther than him being like "You smell weird" and him being generally annoyed by this.
