This post is for threading with Kurt anytime and anywhere. It can be used for Action or the Ring feature on journals to get in contact with him for personal conversations.

[She's fast. And consequently, Kurt gets tossed and is about to hit the ground before he teleports again, now into a tree. She'll be able to hear it, given his landing is less than gentle. But now that he's up there, he starts to hop from tree to tree.]

Do you even know where you are, now? Running would be useless now. You might never find your way back.

[... Okay, bad as this is, Melanie can't help but smirk a little once she hears him hit that tree. It's about time she managed to land a hit. Of course, that smirk fades once Kurt starts with the taunting again.]

Funny, you're making it sound as if I was actually planning on running. [She'll talk and she'll fight back, but Melanie isn't going to be running away any time soon.]

Suit yourself. I have you right where I want you.

[He's going to quietly move around her, a perfect position for hugging. She'll never see it coming.]

[Glaaaaare.]

Sure you do. [Melanie tries her best to listen in for anything that would give Kurt away, but there's nothing. Even if she's gotten used to listening for people following her, she's still dizzy and the fact that Kurt's got her feeling nervous and agitated isn't helping, either. So unfortunately, Melanie doesn't notice and actually yelps when he...

... hugs her? SERIOUSLY?

Melanie's first instinct is to punch him in the face, but seeing as he's wearing that mask and that this is a bit of an awkward angle, she'll just settle for something else.]

Kurt. What are you doing?

[... well, hey, at least he's hugging someone he usually hugs anyway! So he's just sort of bewildered. But not minding that much.]

... hugging you?

[And now that Melanie is over the initial shock, she's just really annoyed.]

So the mask makes you stalk and hug people?

Great. [Sigh. She's still upset, but... okay. Mask making him do that, so she'll try to ease up on the annoyance.]

So is there a reason why you're still hugging me? [Not that she dislikes being hugged, but considering the circumstances, it's a bit awkward.]

Well. Apparently I have to get hugged back. Which ahh... has not been easy, trust me.

[Gambit and Robin. Awful.]

[... Okay, that earns a smirk from her. Depending on who he was going after, getting a hug back definitely wouldn't be that easy.]

Not everyone's willing to hug back, I take it?

Definitely not. Especially since most of them were guys. [His life, Melanie. It's horrible.]

[Definitely not going to bother with trying to hide a laugh.]

Poor you. [But fine, she'll co-operate and hug him back.] Any better?

[Much better. And she gets it right on the first try, letting him free.]

Way better. [He smiles sheepishly.] Sorry about the ahh... everything.

No problem. Just... don't do it again. [Seriously.]

Though we should probably try and get that mask off before there's a chance for it to happen again.

[... yeah. He taps the mask and then tries to pull it off. Nothing.]

It's stuck pretty good.

[Well that's no good. She'll reach out to give the mask a quick tug, too, and... yeah, nope. Not happening.]

Slag. Well, we can probably try and find someone to help get it off.

Ow! [It's stuck on enough to hurt. So no. Not going anywhere.]

Trust me, plenty of people have tried. This thing just doesn't want to come off.

[Well this sucks. Hm. Maybe they could think of a way to keep it from happening.]

Any idea on what prompts the stalker stuff? Do you think it happens at random or is it just when you find someone new?

[He shrugs just a bit.]

So far it's all been people I know.

Hm. Well, maybe you could stay at my place for a little while. At least then if you start acting weird again, I already know what'll happen.

[Well, she was mostly thinking a few hours ~~and surprisingly not in a sexual context~~, but then again there's no guarantee how long that mask will even stay on.]

Hopefully nobody will decide to try breaking in again. [Because that was really weird.]

[He would probably ultimately have to pass. He may be a night prowler at times, but X-Men check in with the family. Unless they are Wolverine, in which case, screw the family!

Someone broke in?

It was weird, but I'm thinking it was all a part of the mask thing, too. It was pretty clear they normally don't do the whole 'thief in the night' thing, their entrance needed work. [Aaaanyway.]

I never really got a good look at her face because of the mask, but she had white hair and used some kind of lightning ball to light up the room. [It would actually have been pretty cool if not for the whole breaking in and awkwardly trying to seduce her thing.]

... wait a second. White hair? Lightning balls? [Oh boy. Facepalm goes here.] That's Miss O. [He's mentioned her before.] Did she try to flirt with you?
