[With his first week of school in Luceti over, Kurt has taken advantage of the day off to make something a little special. A pizza, in fact. It's for a special little friend he made, so given how ridiculous this is, he's done his best to make the pizza when Kitty wasn't at home to call him out for it. Once it's done, he'll be appearing (quite literally) at building 4, teleporting to the sixth floor to knock on the door of Maes Hughes. Hopefully your daughter warned you that she ordered a pizza for lunch.

After putting up with Brigade shenanigans and generally hanging around the plaza area, he'll even make a voice post. Crazy, innit? This is mostly in response to seeing a certain person claiming to be a demon. Something that... struck him rather odd.]

When you think of a demon, what exactly do they look like in your mind? And [a hesitant pause here] what would you do if you saw one like that?

[LATER after being bombarded with how cool demons are, Kurt says something over the journals that will elicit less freaky responses:]

School wasn't so bad here. I can't believe we actually get homework though. What happens if we fail?

Just curiosity. That one girl was claiming to be a demon. I thought it was a joke.

People rarely are what they seem to be anyway, actions are what create a person.

Did you expect some kind of monster as a demon?

...I think he's lonely.

[And Terra has a soft spot for lonely people.]

It does seem to be what people commonly expect.

Just... be careful, okay? Things are different in Luceti, or so people claim. But demons... they can be tricky. Treacherous. He may not be as trustworthy as he seems.

I don't know about that. It really depends on the world and the situation. I know that some demons can be nothing but malevolent, and some demons can have a conscience. They're all just grouped underneath the same basic definition, like "humans."

And what kind of monster would that be? People can label as monsters even cars if they aren't used to them.

Yeah, I guess so. [This causes him to think, though. Something Haruki mentioned...] But you're not human, right?

I've never really liked the word demon. I don't think people should be judge by how they look or what they are, but by their actions.

[ Hey Helios doesn't watch TV or deal with publicity too much. But he finds out from his students. Besides he has one the demons with the worst publicity stop by at his castle occasionally. ]

Mm it's a shame really. I always like to give people, er mythical beings too, chances. It's quite funny that most of my human students don't even know they're in school with demons at all! But...once you show them what they are it automatically reverts into hatred or fear. [ He sighs. ] You can't judge a book by it's cover as the saying goes.

Yeah, that's true. Anything people don't know or understand scares them. Or at least, that's how it was. This place isn't even remotely like home. [Especially since half the people seem to think demons are rad.]

I've never liked it either. [Especially since he's been called one enough times.] But you're right.

I know what that's like. My friends and I are mutants. We went to school for years and had lots of friends. But once people found out who we were... all we had left were each other.

[So many people in the house, and no milk left means that Katara is making a trip to the grocery store. Oh, hello there familiar person.]

[Oh good! He sets aside his journal for now, rather happily. He's a little creeped out by all that, but having a familiar ~~pretty~~ face is helpful.]

[You're not alone with being called a demon.] It's such a general term too. I've met a lot of people here who've called themselves demons and they've all been so unique and different. Not to mention the majority of them have been nice.

I've met some humans who have acted more like demons than most of the actual demons I've met.

AAHH! Not to say that I think humans are demons - no! Just that... I guess, I think demon should describe actions more than looks? Ahahahaha...

[Oh cool. Spiky hair is friends with demons too. Well, he'll just... have to deal with that.]

Yeah, yeah. I know exactly what you mean. A lot of people here seem to think like that too.

Some parts aren't so bad, but there are others that leave me just shaking my head, you know?
