bamfing | Ein - [Action/Voice]

[Although Kurt arrived early in the day, walking around the village was not an option. So he was left with little choice but to wait around until evening, listening in on the journals for clues as to what happened to him. Clearly he wasn't the only recent arrival and he learned quite a big from his fellow New Feathers having the situation explained to them. So, in the dead of night, Kurt finally enters the village, teleporting from one room to another. His first stop is the clothing store. After finding some discreet, normal outfit (opting to come back for his X-Men uniform later), he leaves and goes to the item store to find his holo watch. If anyone happens to run into him during the dead of night, they'll find that he's keeping to the shadows and has himself covered in a robe. He'll talk if he's found, at least at first. But he's not keen to reveal himself and will teleport away immediately.

The next morning, though, Kurt will be walking around town in the appearance of a normal human kid, exploring the various parts of the towns, mostly the shops and Welcome Center. Later, he even makes a voice post, sounding just a bit timid as he does so.]

Hello everyone, my name is Kurt. I ah, arrived yesterday. I was wondering if any of my friends were already here? [Seemed reasonable to ask... so many other people arrived to people who already knew them.]

[Well, so much for that. New topic to get his mind off the wings a bit.]

So, where you from, Kurt?

I don't remember him being in the show... He was in the movies, though. He used to be a hockey player, I think?

Don't worry about it. [Oh look. The sodas.] This is what you're here for, then.

Germany, well... America now. [A pause.] Or Earth, I guess.

For a little while. Then he got injured and couldn't play seriously anymore.

[He slows to a walk as they approach the house.]

I don't know who will be awake. I haven't been around much lately.

[That sounds about right to him, so he lets it go.]

Really? Why not?

[Don pauses on the doorstep.] Have you heard about the experiments?

[She nods, and loads a couple more in her basket.] This and some frozen bread dough... and maybe I should make a desert. I don't know...

Anyway - any more questions about Luceti?

[He on the other hand hasn't picked up anything in the store. He'll do that... later.]

Well ah, no. Not really.

[She looks up at him and grins.] Not that you had many to begin with. You seem to be doing all right. I'm glad.

They happen sometimes. Cause big messes. There was a bad one a week ago. We're still... cleaning up.

[And with that explanation, he'll open the door and head inside.]

There's a lot of people from Earth around here. Specifically America. Never been there myself though.

[He grins.] Maybe I should have saved the guide for later, huh?

Oh. [He just follows inside quietly, figuring it's best not to pry beyond that.]

[He nods.] Never left England?

[Probably wise.]

[He gestures to a doorway.] Kitchen is through there. Help yourself.

[He sinks into an armchair and covers his face with one hand.]

[He'll help himself to some food. Not much, because it's not his house. A little later, Kurt will return and take the couch, ready to just fall asleep there if there's no objections.]

[She shakes her head.] No, it's good that you read it. Just remember to guard your wings and avoid Yuber and you should be fine.

Never been England either. Haven't even been to Earth before.

[No objections here. Don isn't making it any further than the living room himself tonight - so if any housemates have a problem with the blue guy sleeping on the sofa, they can take it up with the Turtle sleeping in the recliner.]

Yeah... good ideas, thanks. [Figuring he should leave her alone, he starts to walk away.]

I'll see you around, Katara. [He gives a small wave.]

[He tilts his head.] Oh, you must be from another world then...

[Then sleep there he shall. But when Donatello wakes up the next morning, Kurt will be gone, leaving nothing but a brief thank you note with an explanation he went to go check out the town. He's an early riser, after all, since he was still going to school yesterday.]
