Kurt really likes Anne, but not quite in any romantic sense, although this is actually the case with most of the girls he knows. She's interesting and although certainly very backwards thinking, one of the nicest people he's met. Seeing as she's kind of defenseless in Luceti, he does feel responsible for her. And not just because she can't fight, but also because she is (to him) very naive. It's one reason why he's glad to have had her move in. Although it would take a lot for him to ever think of her as a love interest, he does, in fact, think she is pretty. He's not making that up at all. Redheads are great.
